General Information: Modern is open Tuesday through Saturday weekly. All guests must be 21 to enter with a valid government issued ID. Please dress to impress, work it, the funkier the better. Please consider your attire before coming out, and leave behind flip flops and shorts, old sneakers, ball caps and dorags, baggy t-shirts and athletic wear in general. Weekly Events: Modern offers dc's best parties, with a relaxed lounge area, a high energy dance floor, impeccable selection of DJ talent, and the city's favorite bartenders and doormen. VIP Table Reservations: The modern family invites you to pamper yourself with some VIP treatment...we offer VIP table reservations five nights a week. Our reservation capacity ranges from 4 to 100 people, and all table reservations include a complimentary guest list before midnight, a semi-private seating area, and a cocktail waitress to take care of your orders.
